ELKOND HHK, a.s. has developed a new product which is a power cable with special chemical protection against rodents, which replaces the protection through steel armouring. A new important technical norm EN 50575 – Power, control and communication cables – Cables for general applications in construction works subject to reaction to fire requirements was issued in September 2014. The content of this norm was proposed and elaborated in active cooperation with experts from our company on fire parameters of cables, who are members of the work group CENELEC TC20/WG10 Fire performance of the cables.
